CUBERT Gmbh was founded in 2012, headquartered in Ulm - Germany, and is still the only manufacturer of hyperspectral video cameras that use snapshot technology for real-time solutions.
We’re excited about the enormous potential and untapped markets and applications our technology has and are committed to exploring them together with our customers.
We may be the only source of hyperspectral video footage in the world, but we think of our customers as the real experts, as they are the ones who are constantly finding new applications, new ways to apply our technology, new problems to solve with it. We provide the best tools to do this.
We have maintained the curiosity and unconventional approach of a start-up. We like to think outside the box, to test the limits of what is technically possible, not as an end in itself, but to generate real-world benefits.
This results in lean, fast, affordable and easy-to-use products and solutions that enable technical disruptions in target markets.

IATEC Plant Solutions can now share its extensive experience in the application of UAVs to help clients select, customize, purchase and maintain the entire range of CUBERT Gmbh products.

-
The ULTRIS 5 features the same footprint as your standard industrial imaging camera in size and price, but it delivers an incredible spectral discrimination in comparison. This enables new applications in Food Quality and Safety, Medical Imaging and Remote Sensing alike;
-
The ULTRIS 5 is the most versatile addition to Cubert’s family of Light Field hyperspectral cameras. It is small enough to fit into any industrial process system, powerful enough to fill medical imaging requirements and fast enough to record complete non-scanning snapshot data cubes at 15Hz;
-
The ULTRIS 5 is the affordable solution when multiple cameras are needed. Other optical configurations and wavebands are available on request;
-
The camera comes with IP40 protection class, other options are available on request (IP66-69);
-
ULTRIS 5 can be integrated into a multitude of scenarios. Makes hyperspectral imaging cost-effective where it hasn't been before;
-
It covers the same spectral range as the first ULTRIS 20, (450-850 nm – VNIR), with a sampling rate of 8 nm, a total of 50 bands and a frame rate of >15 Hz;
-
The resolution is 250 x 250 pixels, so still 25x higher than the FireflEYE V185 resolution.
PERFECT FOR OEMS:
-
The ULTRIS 5 opens up new markets for HSI thanks to its combination of affordability and performance. It is primarily targeted towards original equipment manufacturers, as we envisage numerous industrial and operational applications ranging from skin cancer detection to triage of recycling.

The extra data provided by the second camera on the ULTRIS X20 PLUS allows us to use a technique called pansharpening or image fusion – a version of which we have developed in house – to enhance the images even further;
-
This enables analysis at the leaf level of vegetation even from a UAV, helping to detect diseases and other issues that require action at an early stage;
-
The level of detail provided by the ULTRIS X20 PLUS lends itself particularly to mobile mapping, so UAS applications are the primary beneficiaries;
